Last Double Clear at Foxhunter
Well, what a rush! As Koning Albert was off games over winter, it has been a bit of a rush to get him fit enough and jump ready to get his remaining 3 double clears so he can go through to the Second rounds. We were also nearly out of points too, so Dani had to ride extra carefully so as not to take the top places which gain lots of points.
They did it! He gained all 3 in just over 2 weeks 🙌 and looked so good.
With 8 points left before he is out of Foxhunter, they gained their last double clear today at Vale View EC. He's nowhere near ready for Foxhunter Second rounds yet, so it's work in progress.
With the finals starting height of 1m45 and held at HOYS, this is a very prestigious and coveted class, where only horses and riders with exceptionally brave pants compete 🙈
